Burmester Cellars
Burmester Wine Cellars are located in Vila Nova de Gaia, in a prime location overlooking the river Douro, by the bottom deck of Luiz I Bridge. Open to the public for guided tours and Port wine tastings, distinguished by their history and authenticity.
Quinta São Luiz & The Vine House
Located in the heart of the Cima Corgo, near Pinhão, Quinta de São Luiz is one of the Douro’s most emblematic wine estates. With a terroir that gives it both personality and identity, it combines tradition with modern sustainability through its state-of-the-art winemaking centre. São Luiz wines proudly reflect this heritage, with labels inspired by the estate’s iconic whitewashed walls — a timeless symbol of its history and resilience. Today, spanning 125 hectares (90 under vine), Quinta de São Luiz is also a must-visit destination for wine lovers. Guests can explore the estate, enjoy guided tastings, and stay overnight at the charming guest house, which offers 11 rooms overlooking the Douro River.

Located in Vila Nova de Gaia, just across the river from the UNESCO World Heritage centre of the city, Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia Hotel is steeped in a unique heritage of its own. What was once home to port cellars and warehouses for centuries is now a burgeoning wining and dining district, our hotel in the very centre of it all.
