Kopke Colheita 2013 Tawny

This harvest is of a brick colour with reddish nuances. Emerging on the first nose are fragrances of black plum with spicy hints of cinnamon and aniseed. On the palate, clear notes of fresh fruit coming through, youthfulness combined with touches of dried fig and hazelnut creating an irreverent undertone seducing in every sip. A bold and intense wine with a long finish.

Served chilled, it reveals all its finesse and sophistication, especially when drunk with desserts made with caramel, dried fruit and spice, such as caramel fondant with apple and ginger jelly, tarte tatin, crème brulée and medium-strength cheeses.

  • Grapes: Douro Traditional Varieties with predominance of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca.
